Many of us prefer planning, especially when it comes to booking holidays abroad. The clock is ticking and every day we are one day closer to the end of this year, which means that you need to decide where to spend your New Year’s Eve (if you haven’t decided yet). Claims 24 have made a list of all 52 European countries according to historical average temperature on 31st December. All the data was taken from accuweather.com and we analyzed capital cities only, so it might be warmer/colder within other areas of these countries.  No matter what the weather will be like – there is no bad weather, only inappropriate clothing!

If you want to spend your New Year’s Eve without getting cold, consider Malta, Cyprus, or Monaco. However, if +15 °C is still too cold for you, you might consider flying outside of Europe. For example, the historical average for New Year’s Eve in Cairo (Egypt) is 19° /9°, which is similar to Marrakesh (Morocco): 19° /7°. If you can fly to more remote countries, consider New Delhi (India): 22° /8°, Sydney (Australia): 25° /18°, Cape Town (South Africa): 26° /15° or Buenos Aires (Argentina): 27° /20°.

Once you will be one step away from booking your holiday, we recommend double-checking if your holiday is ATOL protected. By law, every UK travel company which sells air holidays and flights is required to hold an ATOL, which stands for Air Travel Organiser’s Licence. This protection is essential if you would like to claim holiday illness.

In case you already have been on holiday and felt sick, here are the most popular holiday illness symptoms.
